 World Environment Day is celebrated across the world on 5th June every year. Since 1974, World Environment Day is the most remarkable day for environmental action. The UN Environment Program (UNEP) organises event for Environment Day every year to encourage world wide awareness and action for the protection environment.

World Environment Day 2021 will be celebrated on 5th June 2021 across the world. World Environment Day 2021 iconic activities is hosted by Pakistan. The theme of World Environment Day 2021 is 'Ecosystem Restoration'. Ecosystem Restoration denotes assisting in the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded by activities like pollution and deforestation. Ecosystem Restoration can also be promoted by conserving the ecosystems that are still intact. Healthy ecosystem and rich biodiversity yield greater benefits such as more fertile soils, bigger yields of fish and timber.The host country for this year is Pakistan. Let's make this environment day meaningful and act positively so that we contribute oxygen in an indirect manner and control the crisis of corona.
